Joining Nu Sigma Pi is the best decision I could have made for myself. I got to meet some of my best friends and some of the most incredible women through this organization. She has helped me grow so much going from a very shy and quiet 18 year old to the woman I am now. I am forever grateful to Nu Sigma Pi for everything she has given me over these last couple of years and being able to serve as President for this year is such an honor to me.

Being a part of Nu Sigma Pi has given me a sense of community, confidence, and belonging throughout my university experience. It has connected me with inspiring women who motivate me to grow both personally and professionally, while creating friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Through leadership opportunities, philanthropy, and sisterhood, Nu Sigma Pi has become such an important part of my life and university journey.

vice-president external: Abisha Rajasuseenthiran

Abisha is currently studying Public Relations at the University of Ottawa and is a proud sister of Beta Eta Class.
NU SIGMA PI has given me more than a sisterhood, it’s given me confidence, community, and a space to grow into my voice. I’ve learned how to listen, build meaningful connections, and show up with intention. This sisterhood has shaped the way I carry myself, reminding me that leadership can be grounded, genuine, and still have fun along the way.

Secretary: Andrea Pena-Moreno

Andrea is currently doing a Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Ottawa and is a proud sister of Beta Eta Class.

"When I moved to Ottawa, I was searching for friendship, support, and a place where I truly belonged, and Nu Sigma Pi became all of that and so much more. From the very beginning, I was surrounded by the most genuine, supportive, and inspiring women who helped make Ottawa feel like home. Through every stressful semester, late-night study session, and unforgettable memory, my sisters have always been there for me.
One of my favourite parts of this sisterhood has been the friendships I’ve built and knowing that I now have so many amazing women in my life who support me no matter what. My Big has especially been by my side through everything, always encouraging me and reminding me that I never have to face challenges alone.
I’m so honoured and grateful to be serving as Secretary for 2026–2027. This sisterhood has given me so much love, confidence, and support, and I’m so excited to give back to an organization that means so much to me. I cannot wait for this upcoming year, to create unforgettable memories, and to help future sisters find the same sense of home and belonging that I found here.”

treasurer:
Natalie Forget

Natalie is currently studying Science Infirmière at the University of Ottawa and is a proud sister of Beta Eta Class.
I joined Nu Sigma Pi in my first year of university because I didn’t know many people and wanted to step out of my comfort zone, get involved, and make new friends. Looking back, joining this sorority was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Nu Sigma Pi has taught me so many valuable lessons that I will carry with me for years to come, from leadership and teamwork to confidence and personal growth.
Through this sisterhood, I’ve met some of my best friends—people who continue to support me, inspire me, and help me grow every day. I am so grateful for everything this organization has given me, and I’m excited for the opportunity to give back by serving as Treasurer this year.
